I ended up "stealing" it for the queen matress in our camper and it made all the difference. We slept great all summer. It has Been much more than a year since we purchased this (along with a single Bed one for my other son) and they still retain their shape perfectly. They have yellowed a Bit on the corners (don't know why - we always use a fitted sheet) But this does not effect the performance.
My mom was sensitive to the smell of the one I got her as a gift last Christmas. We had to open it up and lay it out in a spare room until the smell was BareaBle.

The pad did not have a strong chemical smell like some memory foams do. Comfort is about what I expected. It did not make my bed feel like a $5000 mattress, but it did make it considerably more comfortable. I wake up refreshed and without any sore joints from pressure. For the price of the pad I would have to say that you owe it to yourself to give it a try. After all the company offers a money back guarantee so what do you have to lose?
